The 2005 Pack 97 Truck Derby!

This year we are putting on our very first Truck Derby! Thanks go to Kyle and Angela Hale
and their family for helping make this possible.
The Truck Derby is run on a track just like the Pinewood Derby Race. Weights and
sizes are different, but the event is run in the same manner.
Essentially it's an 18-wheeler (well, 10 wheels, actually!) version of the
Pinewood Derby.
There will be trophies given for Top Finishers in each class, and for Design.
There will also be lots of Door Prizes and a hat and patch for each participant!
There will be TWO Classes:
CUBS
This race is open to all Cub Scouts in the Memphis/Desoto County area.
NON-CUBS
This race is ALSO open to ANY children ages 7-12 in the mid-south area.
(accompanied by a parent).
August 20th, 2005
Inspection Starts at 10:30am. Races start at 12:30pm
Deadline for Registration is July 1st
Desoto Athletic Club on Goodman Road in Southaven.
